I bought these boxes to use in my pantry where I've been having a bug issue. The plan was to put items in the boxes that I was concerned about weevils getting into. I purchased these boxes thinking they would do the trick since the description said it was an airtight/moisture tight seal. When the boxes arrived they looked great. I attached the lid and it seemed tight. Upon closer inspection though we discovered the gasket boxes don't completely seal. By placing water inside and turning the box upside down we found that the water literally poured out! Obviously if water can get out then bugs can get in. I am returning the boxes. These boxes would be great for a person that doesn't need an air-tight seal but for those that do you'll need to look elsewhere.
